Default What is the name of your wifi network?
So what is the name of your wifi network?

Ours is currently Windsor Castle. I was resetting the router and wanted to change the name but I couldn't think of anything to change it to and I looked up and saw we had a picture of Windsor Castle on the wall. How about everyone else?

Mine was FreePr0nXXX, but ricanpimp wouldn't stop trying to connect to my network, so I had to change it to something more subtle...

"GetUrOwnS&%*"

Though I have on occasion used other more normal names. I once got door dinged by my neighboor and setup a accesspoint with the same name as his to annoy him. I did it without security and left it without WAN access. There was a ton of MAC addresses in the logs. Guess people can't help but steal wifi.

I was really hoping he'd join it ignorantly and then complain to his ISP about how his service sucked.

The next one I set up, I'll probably use "FBI Child Protection" to scare a few pedophiles

SolarNET, since 2005. [thumbup]

If I drive around the city, most of them are either "dlink" or "linksys" Not as many open networks compared to 5 years ago due to them shipping default secured now.

Lately I've seen a lot of open print servers like "hpsetup" that's annoying.
