An update for anyone who's bothered:

I've been taking Adalimumab for 3 and a half months now. I had a colonoscopy this morning because I've been in some pain the last few weeks. Turns out I still have severe Crohn's towards my backside, which isn't good :( This drug is supposed to be the be-all-and-end-all, so I'm going to try doubling the dosage. FML.

Last month i had one day of severe stomach pains, not the usual where ive ate to much to fast, This was like i had 20yrs ago, like someone kicking me...then the next day went to the toilet, of look ive had internal bleeding again http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/unsure1.gif not what i wanted to see after being clear for 20yrs so i went to the local walk-in centre.

So after sitting there for 2hrs+ listening to screaming kids and people with a max iq of no more than 50 i finally got to see the doctor (she was well worth the wait lol) according to her it might of just been a blip http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/wacko1.gif told me to take it easy over the wkend, fat chance duck cos im working.

After 2 days everything returned to normal (toilet wise) but my insides felt as if something has shifted upwards from my lower stomach and ive had chest pains starting from under my arms then going down into both rib cages (granted i had the chest pains before this happened)

Anyway after seeing her i booked in with my local doc, only took like 3wks to see him as our local surgery is full of hypochondriacs, throw em a stick and the twats come back on crutches http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/laugh1.gif

So my local doc says the same really, just a blip as Crohns never goes away, i know but after 20yrs blip free im abit worried, he examined me for the pains i was describing but he failed to find anything. Mind you alot is to do with my job lifting bags at the local airport and the feeling that something has shifted in my stomach area i thought it might have something to do with the amount i cycle but he said there no conclusive evidence that cycling has any affect on ones stomach etc

Regardless of the pains ive been getting my fitness it above what it was last year and the year before according to the massive amounts of data i keep cycling wise so really for me its now a case of see how i go, if i dont drop dead then bonus [thumbup] if i do...well i wont be around to think/worry about it http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/laugh1.gif

Sorry to hear. It sucks, but it could be worse. I've been told I have severe Crohns over half my colon, yet I feel absolutely nothing from there. My backside is sore as hell though, it's just to pieces and it feels like I'm shitting lava.

That sounds like me when im on aload of early shifts 3am-4am starts, my bowels dont know whether they're coming or going even after 10yrs of doing em http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/laugh1.gif

I work night shifts half the time, and I don't think that helps at all.

What i usually do is after say a 4hr shift 4-8am (max 12hrs shifts) i will stop up until around 7pm that day then get around 7hrs kip but even with that i find after the 3rd early my bowels feel all over the place. Granted half of it might be down to what i eat but the other half is defo out of my control. I've tried sleeping as soon as i get in but that just results in finding it harder to sleep in the evening so http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/unsure1.gif

Have you changed your diet any?
Should try and move over to a 50+% raw food diet, take multivitemin/mineral pills and increase your Vitemin C intake to tens of thousand % over the daily recommened value.

Give your body the support it needs to fight off your diesease instead of taking toxins that fight one thing, but then just cause many other problems.

I think your colon might feel better if you stop listening to Killswitch Engage. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/laugh1.gif

Pfffft.

I wish they'd just chop the bad bits out and be done with it.
