It's nice.......not as "badass" as I was expecting. But nice.

What CC is it? My friend rides a Vulcan 900.
It's a 96 cubic inch motor... I believe that's about 1584 cc. I decided that Harley's are the trucks of the motorcycle world with the low end torque. She tried to buck me off a couple times today while taming the beast. Luckily, my fingernails were able to dig into the rubbery handgrips which kept me from flying off the back.
Of course, I'm a much better rider now than I was about 8 hours ago.

I think the ride quality is great. Dyna's ride much better than the Sportster's. I've got a road trip planned for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We'll see what I say about the ride after that. I have feeling that I'm just going to love it more.

If you like it, go for it!

Down here the two main groups who ride H-D are gang members and guys going through their mid-life crysis. Which are you?

I rather like the Buell versions, though!

It's quite unfortunate you have to bash the Harley to feel better about yours. You should have just got a Harley.

What I like about and want from a motorcycle, the Harley delivers.
It's just that all people who buy harleys buy them because they believe harleys are so much better, while you really pay for the image and status of the name. But ye if thats what you want, enjoy [thumbup]

Ye only harleys have that! ahum

It obviously is, so why was your first thought to try and make him feel bad about buying it? Shows what kind of person you are. Not a very nice one, in case you need it spelling out.

I think he's just one of those people that can't stand anyone having anything he doesn't and combats his jealousy by putting them down.

It is you who must stop worshiping the the false god of pistons and camshafts. It is time the people knew the truth and be free of false marketing names. Tires and clutches will once unite around the world and see the true meaning of freedom.

Vroom, vroom i say to my free people.

He summed up the important bit "Mmmmm.....Buell is sex on wheels.".

Ah, damnit (not like I'd be buying one)

"On October 30, 2009, Buell Motorcycle Company closed its doors, bringing an end to a 26-year run. Thanks to all of our customers, dealers and employees for an unforgettable ride."

I was under the impression H-D had bought them out and were continuing to sell them, seems they're just supplying parts support.

Wow, you are a tool. How about you stop being a jealous p**k?

Oh shut up.. the way he talks about the HD makes me believe he's one of many who fall for the HD marketing trick.

"You should have just got a Harley. "
"I decided that Harley's are the trucks of the motorcycle world with the low end torque."
"Because it's a Harley."
etc.

But ye, maybe I sounded a bit harsh, I just don't like people who just follow the crowd and would've left this bike if someone had changed the badge.

I'm not putting him down, I just said he might've had more fun on another bike. How much did you spend cosmic if i may ask? I guess it'll be around $10k. You can get such awesome (new!) bikes for that prices.

Yeah, it's not like he bought a tent or anything like that...
What's that supposed to mean?

Why would your first thought be to tell someone that they could have bought something much better? If you can't say anything nice then just don't say anything. Simples.
