I am here. It has been hairy. Friends lost everything. Our church has been out in the community, but electricity is coming back. Point me in the direction of the spam and I will do it as fast as I can. I worried about you guys getting bombarded, but there was absolutely nothing I could do. Thank you for your prayers. Our damage was minimal compared to so many others who lost loved ones, homes and property.

My kids are safe, we got to know each other better than I think any of us ever wanted My family drove in from MS and brought supplies. I have a gas stove and a big a$$ grill so we were fine with food, water and ice. Needed batteries, but had great grandma's oil lanterns(thanks Momma ) Please continue to pray for those in need. Nbryan I am so glad you are safe. We will put your name on our prayer list.

I don't think I have ever been scared sh!tless before. Not a good feeling.

BREEMOOD!! I"m so glad you are here and doing fine, all things considered. I was very worried. I'll continue to keep you and your family in my prayers, along with those who are also dealing with the aftermath. I"m so glad your children are okay, also.

I can't believe you even worried about the spam. What a mod. I didn't even care about it .. I just wanted to know you were safe.

THis is a good news day!

XO

What can I say. You guys grew on me....like moss I needed a sense of normalcy. Between here and infidelity.com, I was really concerned that the newbies would have to wade through spam. We are used to it, but when they are in pain, it is hard to dig through the crap.

I can't believe how much I missed just logging on or picking up my cell and calling when I wanted to talk. The darkness at night was wierd, sirens always going, staying in gas lines for hours, not knowing what was really going on because you can't see the news only hear reports of death and looting(). Curfew is a pain too. Today feels a little more normal.

My BF lost her home, but she and her husband made it to the shelter and they are safe. Her neighborhood is basically scrap wood. Just like a bomb.

You've got such a big heart, Bree. And you're right -- it's very hard when you are new to the site, filled with pain, and not being able to properly negotiate it due to the spam.

I can't imagine what it would be like to be without power, cells, computers with the eerie 'silence' of the night and the sounds that flow from this sort of emergency. I"m so glad you are safe and sound. !!

I was doing the Praise dance when I finally got to see her and hold onto her. She said she couldn't breath. Hugging my mom was pretty damn good too. I am a 46 year old baby and when I saw her come into my driveway(on 2 wheels) I knew I would be fine.

well. If you really want some spam to deal with, perhaps look at Letmego's post in this thread.

Not as bad as usual, although maybe I"m just getting used to him.

Default Breemood where are you?
Anyone speak with Bree in the last few days? Muffin? Kit? Bchgirl? SIS? anyone?? I am worried because she lives in the area where the tornadoes hit. I haven't heard from her. I was trying to figure out if her last post was before or after the storms in Alabama...anyone know exactly what time they hit? I am so worried. She hasn't answered me, which is so unlike her.

Hi. I live in Tuscaloosa and am a survivor of the tornado. She probably hasn't answered you yet because it is chaos right now, especially for the unlucky ones like me who were directly hit by the tornado. Going through something of this magnitude is devastating so I would give your friends a few days to respond to you before you get too worried. The power is out, cell phone service is terrible and the internet is hard to come by. I'm sure you'll hear from them soon.

The tornado hit my house in Tuscaloosa around 5:15 ish but I can't recall the exact time as I was too busy holding on for dear life in my bathtub. I'm not sure where the others you mentioned live in Alabama but it hit Tuscaloosa around 5pm.

Hope I helped you a bit.

I have not heard and I am also very worried!! I was a bit worried -- but I'm getting progressively more worried. In fact, it's 1:30am my time and I'm checking on here to see if she's posted.

Please let me know if you hear from her. I"ll do the same.

I also watched the first hour of dateline. I can't figure out why the royal wedding made so much news, in light of the tornadoes in Alabama!

Bree is a fighter. Let's prayer the chaos is making it such that she can't or doesn't have the time to get on line and check in with the CC family.

I'm also glad you are okay, nbryan1!

I hope she is okay. I am getting progressively more worried.
