Default Just picked up my nephews first RC car for xmas.
Was going to get him a smaller one but after looking at them in person I upsized my order. Went with a 16th scale traxxas eRevo Titan.

Is that the brushed or none bushed vxl. {nvm, I see the controller now in the picture} Either way they are very nice rc. That VXL will smokes the tires on payment. And it is stupid fast when you dual pack it. He should really enjoy it and nothing like getting away from the pc. Have fun and enjoy. Super great present. Thanks

The pic is a vxl, but he's not getting that one. I got him the brushed one. Hes only 5 and this will be plenty fast enough for him. We can upgrade later when he's older.

nice choice, i think they are BL ready too if he happens to keep it in one piece long enough to reach that level

Hey fruity if you want some 1/5th scale cars then let me know because i'm trying to get rid of my fleet for super cheap. I'm done with Cars/Trucks and moving to planes (believe it or not its cheaper to fly than to drive O.o I used to think it was the other way)

In my experience, for a five year old a RC Car is just a toy that smashes up itself. But good luck with it, it looks reasonably tough.

We've always had rc cars in my family. It helps with hand eye, and later tech and mechanical skills.

Battery only lasts 2 minutes at full throttle. Just came out, $1100, drove one the other day that the hobby store had setup for demonstrations.
