My friends Cat, who she had for 15 fifteen years, has just been killed by their neighbours dog, a pit bull terrier.

My friend went out to bring her cat in when i heard her start screaming "Let my cat go! Let it go!" So i ran to the back garden and she was there trying to drag the dog off, it had the whole head in it's mouth with the cat claws stuck in it's face, so i ran over and tried my best to get the thing off, i think i may have broken a knuckle hitting it, i even hit it with a metal pole and it still wouldn't let go, i tried prising it's mouth open but i had to stop after it turned on me, by which time the cat was dead.

A bit shook up right now, my friend is obviously devastated, i did shout at her to get in and ring the Police, mainly so she didn't have to stand there and watch it all, finally managed to get her cat wrapped up in a blanket and brought her in from the garden, so yea, a bit upset right now, more upset at seeing my friend so distraught, but also because i couldn't stop it, she was alive when i got out there, but even after 3-4 minutes of trying, i just couldn't get it off. ****. Her family are with her now.
