Typical response from someone who doesn't seem to like cats or just isn't a cat person in general. Fact is, any pet no matter the type that spends nearly 20 years with you is another member of the family. Imagine if she had a young kid that was under 10 that witnessed the entire thing, it could potentially scar them for life. Or what if instead of a cat it was a small dog that was outside simply relieving itself? Would you still feel the same way?

Explain. Otherwise, I want some of whatever it is you're smoking.
I mistyped. The cat owner has the option of a lawsuit against the dog owner.

I don't remember anyone saying "it is just a stupid cat, this wasn't traumatic, you and that neighbor are pussies for being affected because I feel nothing" did they? No, people simply said this is an unfortunate case of nature. Dog, cat, bird doesn't matter.

I will say one thing. Sometimes, imo, cats are asking for it. Calm down. What I mean is, at least from what I saw as a child, cats will taunt dogs. Don't act like they don't. We have all seen it. That whole nine lives thing is said for a reason, and it is because cats take some serious risks. When I said above (been there) I meant almost the same thing you went through ice. When I was about 15, I watched my cat sitting on the wooden fence taunting my dogs below (through my bedroom window I witnessed it) They were alaskan spits and they were going crazy. Cat decided to walk down the fence, and when he got to the gate part of the fence the dogs both jumped against the gate causing the cat to fall in there with them. In the 20 seconds it took me to run through my house and reach the cat they had already killed it and like you, it's claws were stuck into the face of one of the dogs. Fortunately, they were smallish dogs so a couple of swift kicks (not punts) to the side got them to forget about the cat. I was pissed at my dogs, but mostly, I was pissed at the cat. It's punk ass was asking for trouble.

Yeah not all cats are so smart for sure. The one cat at my dad's place is an example of this. It found a knot-hole in the floor and had it's entire arm sticking down through and causing the giant Newfie in the basement to go completely apeshit. It's lucky it didn't get it's arm torn off.
