Calendars and Androids Oh my!!

Hey guys,

Really wracking my brain over here. As I said in the other thread, i would like a new phone, this time Im taking a hard look at either windows phone 7 or android.

Most people have advised me to get android, so that is what I would like to get, however Im having a really hard time figuring out how my calender would work on an Android.

Let me make this simple. Me and my wife use a calendar for our whole LIVES, its a vital part of our existence...we currently use a Hotmail Calender which syncs flawlessly with Windows Live Mail 2011 and we love it!!! However Android has no "native" support for hotmail calendars....uh oh. Ive scoured the internet and i literally have a headache.

Heres what I want: I want a Calender to be viewable/edit-able in Windows Live Mail 2011 and the same thing on our Android phones. I can switch calender services, mabye switch to gmail calender? do a one way sync get the calender over to gmail (which is native to android?) and then go from there? Is gmail calender able to sync with Windows Live Mail 2011?

Anyone have any advice, sorry im frustrated [cursing]

This should hopefully set you up to migrating to GMail Calendar.

I'd switch to Google Calendar;. And yeah, hopefully there's a migratory option.
