To be honest I think the dogs would like it if I got that opener.

But yeah, after all that I bet they would too! I'll be honest, they put me up to it,paid me $50 to try and convince you that a shotgun is the best way. |

Where are the bodies buried? No anyway. I just always use cheap metal tin openers, they don't look anything special...but ffs all they need to do is open cans. And they don't break! Or...you could use the Benelli. [thumbup] |
I use those cheap ones to, had a few over the years, cheap metal ones, cheap plastic ones, they all fail!
So end up using a knife. |

How else can you use a tin opener apart from put it on the tin and turn ? Maybe it's the amount of tins being opened, I love tinned fish, tomato's and whatever other tinned stuff so they get used allot. |

I more envisioned maybe trying to smack the tin with the opener until it broke open and spilled it's delicious contents...or something like that. |
Weve had one of these for years goes through tins really really easy expensive though im sure we paid less all those years ago.

£7.30 is not much would pay up to £20 if it's really good quality.

Get the one from Tupperware, it´s around 30 €.
I know a bit expensive but worth it, it doesn´t rip the lid apart like normal openers do, but cleanly opens the top of the can, allowing you to put the "lid" back on when you want to. |
I spent about 70 USD on a Monopol one.
I have to note that the Germans usually make money when I go for kitchen equipment. |
OXO Steel
This can opener is the bomb, makes opening cans a breeze and it hasn't broken! Had it for 2 years now and is smooth as ever!. http://messenger.msn.com/MMM2006-04-...ades_smile.gif |
http://www.binbin.net/photos/other/tin/tin-opener.jpg Or similar from wherever. Hate most of the electric ones and plastic ones that cut the sides rather than the top outer-edge. Dead cheap as well so if it goes blunt, grab another.
Been a while since I've eaten anything from a tin to be honest though. I tend to just use it as a bottle opener. |
