Default New tent.
The Hilleberg Nallo 2 GT. Not the cheapest at £650 but the best 2 man tent money can buy, both in quality and weight.

Using it in a couple of weeks to walk to and climb a mountain called Suilven up in the far north west of Scotland. I needed the best as I'm planning on camping at the top of it and doing a time-lapse of the sunrise, showing the outer Hebrides being slowly illuminated, all as part of a short film I'm making about the area called Assynt.

The Nallo 2 GT

The Suilven

sleeping area and another space for kitchen/storage?

How small is it when you are taking it with you and what does it weigh?

I have a 1 man Coleman tent and it's slightly larger in pack size, only weighs 2.6kg and can withstand winds up to 80mph.

Brute force and ignorance.

That tent design reminds me of the "North Face Frog 24". I came close to buying one but my priorities shifted.

I like the design of tent in that you can keep your gear in a nice dry spot but not in the way.

was fantastic in austria over the summer -even through the storms (and ofc it didnt leak 2000mm hydrostatic head , 3000 or more really ramps the price up) - non of this tesco`s £39 `quality`

Good move with a decent tent - doesn't seem much of a climb but easy to get caught by a weather change.
I'd been through Lochinver a few times as a kid, don't recall that mount - to far from the normal roads?
BTW, are they still using single lane with passing places, or have they gone for a full two lane road now? I had a (google) look around my old village, Helmsdale, and the inland (Strath) road to the west was still a run down single lane.

Because when I'm camping at the top of a mountain in 60mph winds, I'd like to know the only thing keeping me from dying is of quite good quality. I've researched this thoroughly and this is the strongest, most water proof, lightest tent money can buy. It also comes with a lifetime warranty.

Poncing about like a pastel coloured fag in a T-Shirt that cost more money than most people make in a week just so you can flaunt some cringeworthy fashion label is where that makes you a c0ck. I'm amazed you can't figure that out Ralph. It's really quite simple to understand.

Your skin is probably itching from the BOSS T-Shirt, they are all made in China and are actually quite cheap, it's the label you're paying through the nose for. Ever considered just getting a copy from the local market and saving some cash? You'll probably look equally as attractive.

I have a vango tent that you can stand up in, unfortunately they tend to act like sails in very high winds.

Suilven looms about 14 miles behind Lochinver, you can't actually go anywhere in that area without it dominating the landscape, I'm amazed you can't remember it. It's 12 miles from any road though so there's a bit of a hike to get to the base, but it's definitely very prominent on the horizon.

Still single lane roads I'm afraid with passing placed. Good quality roads though, very well maintained.

You are the epitome of double standards and hypocrisy. And for the record the tshirt was cheap, which is why I bought it. If your low forehead stops you realising that nobody pays full price for labelled stuff then that's your problem.

I truly hope your fat arse falls down the mountain. I'll be checking mountain rescue reports daily for some good news.

And finally, are you seriously questioning my looks? Not only does it make you look like a shirt lifter, it's also a bit rich considering you have a face like a bashed crab.

So the epitome of double standards and hypocrisy is someone buying the best money can buy on survival equipment, when at the same time poking fun at someone spending money on vanity?

Is that what you're saying? Now be careful before you say anything. Use that reactionary **** sponge inside your skull and actually think before you reply.

I am 13 stone btw and just under 6ft, the ideal weight for my height, and fitter than I've ever been in my life. I am afraid the chances of my 'fat' ass falling down the mountain are about the same as your 'metrosexual' fashion sense getting you laid.

Oh dear. I am actually starting to wonder if you've been a 11 year old girl all this time, posting pictures of her gay big brother.

Did someone take out your brain and birth and poo in your head?

It doesn't matter what the money is spent on if the item purchased is not a necessity. Unless you need it to live (and you'd survive fine on a mountain in a £200 tent if you weren't such a *****) then that item is only good value to you or someone else that shares your interests.

Neither an expensive shirt nor an expensive tent are actually needed so laughing at someone else for indulging themselves just makes you look ignorant and stupid. Oh wait....
