Lately it has been about -30C to -40C (-22F to -40F) (awfully close to where Fahrenheit & Celsius actually meet) and plenty of snow. Haven't had to cancel any work or anything yet since my area is well prepared for this kind of weather being in the frozen northlands.

Anyways, around Thursday it's finally supposed to get up to 0 Celsius (32F) so I can't wait for a break from this, and my car can't wait either.

Very warm at 6c.

Susanleech 01-24-2011 11:51 AM

It's been right around 0f (-17c) for the last few days. Should warm up to 30f (0c) tomorrow, which will be the warmest its been in a long time. Lots of snow here too.

Been around 25C for a couple of months and we've just had a couple of days rain (~150mm) which was badly needed - even allowing for some localised flooding closing rads and motorways as it co-incided with some unusually high tides*.
Should stay above 20C for another two or three months.
In Winter, there are usually no more than a half dozen mild frosts with maximums very, very rarely being under 10C.

-20ºC when I woke up at 4:30am and realized the furnace wasn't working. The line froze up and I got it thawed just as the repair guy showed up. Something tell's me that's going to be an expensive methyl hydrate delivery. .

Summer has been non existent in Australia this year. It's that time of year where normally day in and day out it's over 30c and will get scorching temperatures over 40c. This has not been the case. Temperatures are struggling to get over 25c with many days being cloudy and a bit of rain.
On the up side at least the mild temperatures make living bearable, and everyone's gardens are looking great. Typically everything looks dead and dried up.

It was like -10F this AM, now it's a balmy 1F...

lol Howdy neighbour.
Don't you just love how mediocre British weather is. Wouldn't be so bad but those figures could be the same all year round esp. at the coast.

attanilifardy 01-26-2011 02:31 PM

Yup, that just about sums it up for me as well

Joesred 01-26-2011 02:41 PM

Today it was a beautiful -3C, looking forward to tomorrow with similar results.

seicslybearee 01-26-2011 02:51 PM
