Pfft.

I don't need a lawnmower.

DolemFist stands in my garden, whips out his wedding tackle and shocks the grass back under the ground.

I was like lawn mower cable... I didn't know they even made electric lawnmowers are they any good? Would seem like a huge hassle, I really like my gas powered mower. Electric weed eaters however are the shiz

I normally frown upon thread necromancy but this thread is just too epic. It really does have everything including CosmicGrooves posting the same joke a year apart, hoping no one would notice...and with the satiifying conclusion:

Well I fixed it up, the lawn mower works and I managed to cut the grass. A true Bungle classic!

And I generally try not to add to a necro'd thread, but this one is up and walking and dropping limbs.

I have to say -10 manpoints for having an electric mower

Some epic comments in this thread.

The top of which is Desolator's:
Bet you feel like a muppet for going over a bright orange cable huh?
I remember laughing when I first saw that last year, and I laughed again now.

Now it's in two halves. I was going to replace the whole cable, but Maplin's only equivalent cable has three cores where as the existing cable on has two (it appears to be the same size). But then I was thinking I could just attach a plug to one of the broken halves and a trailing socket to the other and then connect them up, which would be easier than replacing the whole cable. Which would be best?
Still better than running over your leg or your dong.

What is a muppet, actually?

I mean, it is freaking hilarious, but are they fighting words or no?

Have you never seen The Muppet Show?

In slang terms a "muppet" is an idiot.

An idiot with a dude's hand up the ass?

I did not realize it was reference to the Jim Henson classic I grew up watching. Muppet Babies make my dreams come true.

So, Bungle, do you feel like a muppet?

Small lawns and no need for petrol mowers.. Plus they're a fraction of the price.

On the subject of lawnmowers, I got a Flymo thing at the moment, but I must admit, I have been debating a petrol one lately, Been going to boot fairs to see if I can get a cheap one to clean up but to no avail.

I don't know why but I am full of laughter to this "a lawnmover with a cord" as I had never heard about it before, it sounds so weird.

Unless you've got a huge garden I don't know why anyone would want a non-electric lawnmower.

TBH I'm still shocked some people didn't know they existed. They're the most common type in the UK I would have thought.
