Oh come on, who runs this site???! Delete all the spam please. Is it that hard to do??

If you read some of the other posts on this issue, you will see that the one of the mods asked if any of the site members know how to deal with robo-spam.

I assume that the mods can delete the spam. In light of Chaser's passing, there are only 2 mods right now. Let's give them a chance...there is a lot of spam to delete.

In the interim, maybe you can spend some time googling how to deal with robo-spam. I spent some time on that this afternoon, but didn't get far.

We can just push all these bad posts down to the bottom of the page simply by replying to the real posts.

Im so sorry all.

A little history of the site.

It was set up by one guy years ago. He was cheated on, and as a consequence started this site.

Due to other commitments, lack of time, and the time involved in moderating the Site, he just did not have the time to dedicate to it.

A few years back, we were overrun by spam, and after daily and hourly messages sent to the site administrator I finally got Moderator access, and managed to get chaser and bree on board.

We are not professionals, we do not get paid, we were not involved in the setting up of the site. We merely cared about the Site and did not want to see it go downhill, and the help we all got here not be available to others who needed it.

We have all done our very best over the years, and whilst we do not expect any gratitude, would ask you to please all bear with us.

We are down to two moderators now, and unfortunately all our requests for assistance from the Site Administrators remain unanswered.

Many, many thanks to Bree who has carried the majority of moderation for a long time now, and now my personal life has settled down and my internet is up and running again, I will do my very best to help.

We understand -- it was hard for the mods to keep up on things before Chaser passed. I do miss him.

I think we need another moderator. There is too much to do for the two mods, Tillymint and Bree.
