Back to the future rerelease!
So who is going to see the remastered version of one of the best movies ever made? It opens tonight! (1st October). Me and fellow BTTF loving friend are going to see it on Monday and I'm getting really excited already. I've bought a body warmer for it and just need to get some red dye. Got the sneakers, chequed shirt and jeans ready to go.
The trilogy is released on blu-ray on 25th October. Theres a nice collectors edition available HD trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BH0BNbwqNK8 |
I know I can't wait for the BluRay! I have already planned a marathon at my place with my mates to watch it! But I also had no idea it was being re-released at the cinema too!? Is it global?

I still don't get how they can transfer a movie from the 1980's into high definition at 720p or 1080p, incredible technology.

Good to know, I have absolutely no knowledge in cameras & film used decades ago so thanks for the info!http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/cool1.gif
But getting back to the movies, I absolutely love the original BTTF. The second one did extremely well with placing Marty in the 50's again and who can't forget 2015's Mattel series Hoverboard. |
4 years to go for those self-lacing shoes boys. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/cool1.gif
I don't see BTTF in any of the cinemas here http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/cry1.gif would definitely go see it with some friends but can't find anything on it...sucks...Canada always gets the **** end of the stick for cool stuff like this. |

Anyway, I have been on the look out to try and find it here at my local cinemas, and no dice http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/sad1.gif I will keep looking though. I will travel interstate if I have to!!! http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/devil1.gif |

What exactly are you laughing about? I'm correct on this. Film resolution, at our current average screen size(40") can't not look any better than it does right now on blu-ray. Simple as that. If you shrunk a 4K resolution theater video onto a 40" screen it would more or less look identical to a 1080p blu-ray. |

Honestly am I the only one who would prefer the hoverboards over self lacing shoes? or is it just because the shoes are more realistic?
When I first saw that movie in 1990 I think it was, I totally fell in love with that hoverboard. It was freaking awesome man. I still want one today, and I was never a skater. Infact I hated that whole crowd. But DAMN.....hoverboard! I mean cmon! That thing was all kinds of badass, even if it was pink and stolen from a little girl who had a basket on the front. |
