Congrats Xeo!! You do realize you won't be sleeping for awhile now, right? (9 mo old boy at home) People say it gets easier, but I'm still waiting!

Gratz!

tbh, the picture creeped me out at first. He is so still and calm almost looks dead.
But then you see his color and all is good [thumbup]
(that and babies tend to cry and move alot later on)

Btw, get some rest! the baby is exhausted from the delivery and will sleep for 2 days.
After those 2 days its 3-2 hour sleep / wake / cry / sleep cycle. Dont count on alot of sleep for a while

Congrats Xeo!! You do realize you won't be sleeping for awhile now, right? (9 mo old boy at home) People say it gets easier, but I'm still waiting!
It will, but dont listen to other parents about their baby and how well it sleeps. They are all lying and have the exact sleeping problems as everyone else. Somehow they wanna show the outside world that their doing fine!

Edit: noticed that date. Hope you got some sleep!

Yeah man, I remember my co-worker talking about crib death syndrome and for weeks I didn't hardly sleep and kept disturbing my son to feel if he was breathing and so on.

Xeo congrats - are you married already?

Yeah, it's funny. Everyone who I talk to except close friends tells me their kids never had a problem sleeping. It's not as bad as it was, but it's still not easy. There was about a 3 week stretch where my wife was working nights at the hospital so I was home with my son. He would go to bed about midnight and wake up at 3:30AM. I'd be up with him until my wife got home at 7:30 then I'd have to go to work for 8:00. The first night wasn't bad, but after 3 weeks I was convinced I was going to die.

It's so bad at times that my wife and I forget where we are or what we are doing lol. Just the other day I found frozen french fries in the cupboard. They weren't so frozen anymore. I also found a raw onion in the silverware drawer. Lack of sleep is no fun. It's OK though, I'm saving all this up for when he is a teenager. I can't wait until the first time he asks for the car keys [thumbup].
