Greetings!
I live in a small rural town where Orthodox churches are about 2 hours away. My question is, is it permitted for an Orthodox Christian to attend a church of another denomination, perhaps the Carholic church, on occasion? I realize there is much concern with such an idea, but it can be rather difficult at times to grow in our faith without the fellowship of other parishioners and having the regularity of participating in a church. Although it is possible to drive the two hour distance, it would eventually present a financial burden as well as added stress due to work scheduling often carrying over into the weekend. |
