Default Vacationing In San Diego, Thinking About Renting a Ferrari
I've always wanted to drive an exotic car, and now it looks like I may have my opportunity to do so. The question is, which of these available cars would you guys rent?

Ferrari California

Ferrari 599 GTB

Ferrari F430 Scuderia

I've seen a couple of Scuderias on the road so I say the GTB.

Why San Diego

No reason, just a vacation. I may end up moving to SoCal in the coming years.

It depends how long you're going out in it for...I've been out in a 430 Scuderia so I can tell you that after a short time the noise will start to become very irritating (if you're looking for something to tool about in and see the countryside). However, if you want to hear every mechanical clunk and click then it's awesome. The noise is intoxicating, as well as the speed.

For something to use all holiday I'd probably take the california, as you're in california.

Incidentally, who are you renting it from and how much? I'm in California and Vegas at the start of december and if the weather is still nice I would love to rent a california. At 30, with a clean UK driving license it would hopefully not be a problem to do so.

I was leaning more towards the California myself, as there will be a good amount of cruising around (probably with the top off as well).

I checked out a bunch of companies, and the one below seems to be the most reputable.

Well you'd have to pick the California so everyone can see your bald head.

I'd say it would be the better of the two cars to cruise and have fun in. The other two are really if you want to make hell on the roads.

BTW Dibrom is too shy to ask, but I think he wants to ask you out.

L-Oh-1800 bucks a day for 50 miles?

I hope you enjoy yourself...

BTW, Why San Diego for vacation? There are still laws for consent and minimum age requirements in California.

Yeah, the fact that the only chuck in 50 miles for that kind of price is ridiculous, since you're pretty comfy you should just save up and buy one...

And apart from a race track, where exactly can you use that amount of power on public roads without getting a ticket or losing your licence.

Better off with the first one, the red car, as you'll have the wind in your hair and an uninterrupted view of all the pu$$y walking about, Plus they can see you too. (which might be good or bad depending on how good looking or ugly you are.

Well I'll be traveling with my GF, but maybe she won't mind if I sneak a peak or two. If not, I'll just do it discreetly.

If I were picking between them I'd say the 599,I never did care for the California's looks.

I'd also avoid moving to California if possible.

Everyone I've met from California seemed pretty cool and down to earth. I'm growing tired of all the old people and northerners that infest Florida. I figure the next best place with a similar (albeit better) climate to here would be Cali.

Yeah man despite what lots of people think about California it's pretty much an awesome place. The people are super friendly and down to earth for the most part, there is everything, and I mean everything here from the tallest mountains to the lowest deserts, biggest trees in amazing forests, and 840 miles of amazing shoreline. Even now I can go down to 100 degree weather within 45 minutes or go play in the snow within 15. Where I live we get massive amounts of snow but just a half hour south and they get snow but once a year; an awesome advantage to the crazy elevation extremes around here. Everything from big cities to small hick towns and small hippy towns like mine. I'm more partial to Northern California than southern but they are both awesome in their own regard, it's just so damn epic here in general. Definitely something for everyone.

I live 700 miles from San Diego but have been there a couple times and really like it, the weather is definitely amazing, not nearly as hot as it is inland, and unlike Florida, humidity is pretty much unheard of (that goes for the whole state).

Dude what are you talking about? The only things in Tennessee that don't suck are Memphis and Jack Daniels.

Unless we're talking about politics, but I don't live here for the politicians. I live here for the 165,000 square miles of awesomeness and the amazing people, I have some of the best and most loyal friends a person could ask for.

The 430 Spider they have listed on the site would be my pick. But if it has to be one of the three, the Scuderia.
