It's not a restaurant worker's job to police what their customers can and and cannot eat.

That wasn't his question.

Since they seem to be knowingly killing themselves, is it ourplace to stop them?
They KNOW they're obese - if in denial - and one may be fired if a complaint is made.

Have you just been refused or something?

But no, if they're only a danger to themselves. Sucks it'll probably cost the tax payer a few quid to keep their fat arse alive though.

A fatty is less likely to harm others than a drunk idiot though.

Depending on the country, it's an offence to serve a drunk more alcohol and, besides, most places selling alcohol are allowed to refuse service

When was the last time a person glassed someone in the face because they ate too many Big Macs?

What about forgetting to put the special sauce on the double-seed bun? [surrender]

No, of course not. Me refusing to serve food to any person would have zero impact other than them becoming upset.

well bar staff refuse you drinks if your too drunk,
This analogy is painful.

I think the only time that would be done is at a buffet. I have seen a Chinese restaurant in flint that has a sign that says "we reserve the right to refuse service" and im going to assume that applied to fatass people.

Nope, they would just file a lawsuit for mental anguish and suffering. I can remember working at a fast food joint back in the 80's and people would order a double bacon cheeseburger , chili fries and then they would get a DIET soda. I was always like WTF is that diet soda gonna do?[rolleyes]

Your right, it's pretty pointless. Some people do prefer the taste of diet though. I hate it.
