So, the ROFL is what exactly? That a company that designs phones is looking for a EE with wireless experience to hire?

I understand that the timing is entertaining (with the left-hand issue), but do we know when the job was posted?

Apple needs to ditch the bumper and release a glove accessory for the iPhone. The fingers would need to be cut off of course so we could still use the touch screen. I'd gladly pay $29 for an accessory like that.

I imagine the process went something like this:

Engineer: So we should use the circumference of the phone to mount a larger antenna!
Jobs: Good, and if we put it on the outside of the phone, it will look cool and fancy.
Engineer: But electrically grounding the antenna to a giant capacitor such as a human body is going to change its extraordinarily precise tuning and ruin the reception.
Jobs: It will look like a million bucks
Engineer: But it won't work!
Jobs: I'm the boss here, and I say produce it.
~phone gets made~
~people complain~
Jobs: Fire that antenna engineer... clearly he knows nothing about RF! Actually, fire the whole unit... will show the rest of the company that we won't tolerate failure!

I dunno, that their antennae doesn't work and that they are looking to hire an antennae engineer? I wasn't rofling I have to confess, I smirked very slightly.
