Default British television on your PC - free!
http://www.myp2pforum.eu/threads/25874

Apparently this has been around since 2009, and it's my favorite little program of the month. Watch BBC1/2/3/4, British Eurosport, BBC News, several movie channels and plenty of other crap (~30-40 channels!), from anywhere in the world, on your PC.

Works like a charm - install VLC (link in post), run the program and you're watching TV within five minutes. Ridiculously easy!

You could just get the 'proxy switchy' extension for Firefox / Chrome and then watch everything you want from bbc.co.uk/iplayer

I'm enjoying the nostalgia of punching in a number and watching a random show. Everything I watch now days I watch streaming or otherwise..

Granted this is streaming.. It's the number thing / randomness..

Ok, lol wtf E4 Ch 15? It's people sleeping for the show. What do you guys watch over there?

That's probably big brother, which thankfully is now in it's final year.
Annoyingly, channel 4 (of which e4 is part of) used to be known for it's maverick programming, in the past couple of decade or so, it's just become an outlet for reality show junk.

Dunno if tvcatchup.com works for non-UKers but the quality is excellent.

Haha, sounds like Big Brother. You must have that in the US too i'd think. It's in something like its 12th and final year. It's awful. Ironically the E in E4 means entertainment I think.

Works great, thanks for the link!

Too bad british TV is just as bad as ours. [rofl]

I guess tv in general just sucks these days. But its interesting to see that you guys across the channel have the same stupid court shows and "reality tv" shows all day that will help our non working citizens find a job instantly.

BBC 1 and 2 are generally ok. BBC 3 shows some good things, although mainly thats just Family Guy. Channel 3, 4 and 5 are less good usually, but it depends. If you can get channel Dave, watch that. Mostly good stuff, but all repeats.

There's a few that worked over here, was showing someone at work and most didn't work! heh,

Did watch a very comical unintelligible argument on BB3 I think it was, over the immigration bill going through Arizona. Hardly any facts...[rofl]

I don't have regular TV, so I never watch any of the reality..I figure it was one of those shows, but the whole show "sleeping"... Going to far

Probably the server crashed with thousands logging in to watch World Cup games.
