Not really a surprise it's gone is it? It probably got shut down because it was illegal.

It's been running (if not continuously) since July 2009, so I doubt it was shut down like that. I'm guessing there is some technical issues with streaming locations, or something. The forum post says this:

"Temporarily dead. I need help from abdre3000 before I can release a new version with the MMS links. I will release something in the next few days using the bandwidth-hungry HTTP links if I am unable to contact him (I do not have his email address, and he has abandoned this forum)."

Too bad though.

It still doesnt work here. I tried to download it again, but I'm getting the message "archive destroyed" and I cant unzip the file.

Could someone send me a working file to ash45473@googlemail.com ?

This is the error message in VLC I get:

File reading failed:
VLC could not open the file "D:\X - Sonstiges\Programme\Media\suspended".
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'file:///D:/X%20-%20Sonstiges/Programme/Media%2Fsuspended'. Check the log for details. Can anyone help?

Do you have a firewall blocking high end ports? I noticed it's using like 51,000 and above.

in the faqs it said something about VLC needed to be installed in the default location. maybe re-install VLC and make sure it installs to C

Well I have disabled the router firewall completely, and VLC was installed into the standard location.

It's not you it's the software / server (whatever). It was working for everyone then last week it just stopped working with that weird error message in VLC.
Don't go smashing up your router over this!
