I think McLaren are winning the development speed race again, RedBull's edge might disappear come the next couple of races.

Ferrari seem to be getting left behind by Mercedes also...

Seems so, but slight track variations can favour some teams' car's characteristics over others, like some may have a good balance for corners and low speeds and others may be really strong on high speed tracks, like India last year.

Also had read that Vettel was better off for fuel than Webber, hence Webber being asked to conserve but not Vettel.

I can seen Hamilton putting one up the inside of Mark on the first lap somehow...

I've put $5 on Mark Webber for fastest lap. It pays $2.88... that's a good price I think considering the pace of Red Bull and Webbers form, I might just get it.

I'm not a fan on betting on motorsport as outcomes can be so random and payouts for the favourite are bad.

Oh and nice one Alonso, take out Petrov cos you can't get past him properly.

Always has been a dirty racer.

Haha take it Webber, about time he's had some bad luck this year

Was hoping for the Shoe to overtake him as well but even with the damaged car the man is quick.

Well, that was a bit of fun [thumbup][thumbup][thumbup]
Now there's a delayed replay of the GP2 race and then a little later INDY 500 followed a bit later yet by NASCAR - if I can stay awake (just turned 2 am here)!

That's a bit unfair - he's a hard racer, trying to get a higher placing - shame Petrov got the puncture, though!

BTW, couldn't make out how much damage Vettel's car took - just the right rear tyre or something more serious, as I would have expected him to try and get back to the pits for a damage check?
Was amused by the mechanic/minder and journalist facing off!

Vettel's overtaking move was fine up to the point he turned right on Webber, I’m not sure why he did that, also feel Webber should have given him more room as Vettel was clearly faster so there both partly responsible.

Didn't like Buttons attempted overtake of Hamilton after they were told to save fuel, that was a bit dodgy and could have easily been a repeat of the Red Bull Incident. [thumbdown]

Pffft..... That was the best bit of the race. "Saving fuel".... that's all bollocks. They're there to race, not form a precession.

So if Button did manage to overtake him and both ended up racing each to the end and as a result ran out of fuel would you still say that was the best bit of the race?
