Why I hate people who are fanatical about apple..
 

Here is a friend on mine on facebook. I get spammed with this crap every other day.

He is fine as long as we dont talk about apple, microsoft, and phones. He is my co-worker :( Can't unfriend someone i still work with on a daily basis.

LOL! Have you seen 90% of people's signatures on here? They are all just as fanatic about PC's. Luckily they don't spend their spare time moaning about Apple!

I think people here are right to be fanatical about PC's. They are after all, more customizable than Apple ever will be.

I thought I was going to open a thread highlighting all of the Apple haters, they seem rabid. I'm going to chain one of them up for 28 days just to see what happens.

OS X is just as customisable as Windows (I'd say more personally) and Macs are generally fast enough not to need customising. It's only 4% of computer users that want the ability to overclock/customise etc.

To me this speaks more about people who are fanatical about facebook and feel the need to update their status multiple times a day with trivial details about their life.

So roughly the same percentage as those who use Macs then?

Plus this is a PC enthusiast forum, so yeah, 90% of the users are going to be into overclocking / customising etc.

Agreed. One of the best features ever. If I made a thread about the people within my friends on Facebook that obsess over food, a movie, their job, a game, etc. I would spam these forums. You either deal with them and scroll pass or if it really bothers you, hit the hide button rizob mentioned. [yes]

Imagine if someone posted a status update as frequently as there is an anti-Apple thread on these forums, it would be as, if not more, as irritating as the mentioned updates at the header of this thread. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/laugh1.gif

Don't get me wrong, Apple does plenty of shady things and mess up quite a bit, it just entertains me how as much as they "mess up" it gains equal exposure by the fanboys as well as the anti-fanboys alike.
