Three times:
1) Phoned 999 for the Fire Brigade when the warehouse opposite our Student House was set ablaze. This was the first day we moved into the house. Quality area we were renting in [thumbup] 2) Phoned 999 for Police after watching 3 pieces of Chav Scum rip open a hole in the roof of an exhaust centre (locatred approx. 20 metres from the now burnt-out warehouse opposite out Student house), drop in through the roof and then start appearing with various parts of exhaust [thumbup] 3) Accidentally left my Mobile unlocked and my 2 year old managed to dial 112. I got a call back from the Emergency Services Call Centre and they were very, very pissed with me. TBH, I can't blame them. My fault. ![]() |

Once by accident
![]() Used my phone's screen as light to get upstairs after a night out, had to press a button each few seconds or it would go on standby. Didn't know that keeping "1" pushed for a couple of seconds would call 112 (your 911) so I was surprised when the phone started talking to me. Never happened again after that tho, lesson learned. No more speeddialing for me. ![]() |

Several times for 999, various reasons (like my mother-in-law having a heart attack), But loads of times to the Welsh non-emergency number which is 101, various reasons like seeing's chav's trying to break into cars, drunk drivers, abandoned cars (probably stolen and dumped), debris on the motorway that could cause accidents, escaped livestock on roads or loose dogs, Lorry drivers on the motorway with no tail-lights in torrential rain etc (nice little surprise for someone coming up behind them at 70mph).
Various stuff like that, and other stuff in my work in security, like Intruders on site etc. |
