Surely logic would dictate that it should be theta- or nove- or something along those lines rather than some retarded contraction of "hell of a" (which in most cases of being used doesn't actually make sense).

Ena is one, but you are right that it's too close. Guess you would have to add the e back then, and do ennea. Enneabyte is a crappy word.
