idk about over in your part of the world bungle, but in high school here, it is quite common for freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors to be in the same class. There isn't a rigid structure per se, and there are electives and such where it happens.

There are the core classes that are usually limitted to the same grade like Math, Science, "English," etc. Then there are electives that will take students from all grades to fill the ranks, like foreign languages, art classes, physical education, etc.

The whole story doesn't add up. So some kids sent the "rapist," who was posing as a female on Facebook, some nude photos. So instead of taking the risk of having those nude photos released, he convinced the kids to have sex with him? I mean really? That absolutely makes no sense. First off the kid would get his ass kicked (even by a 13 year old), and no kid is going to perform homosexual acts just so his peter isn't revealed to the general public. Well as a teenager you're sort of easily embarrassed about these sorts of things, especially in front of their peers. I guess to keep things private kids will go to the extreme to they remain so.
