Wow, what happened there, I don't know anything about engines In drag racing heavily modified cars are required to have scatter shield blankets to catch the pieces and prevent the flywheel chunks from tearing your legs off as they blow through the cabin. |

Scattered his flywheel. Thats what destroys the hood. Flywheels typically weigh about 15 to 20lbs. 15 to 20lbs spinning at 4,000-6,000rpm will make quite a big dent in anything. ![]() |
