This movie has been burning up the box office, surpassing The Dark Knights 2nd, 3rd,4th, and 5th weeks total gross. And its nearly to eclipse The Dark Knights record of 533 million and maybe only a few days. Now i ask u all, do you think it has what it takes to sink the Titanic? (600 million domestic).

I have a strange feeling the Dark Knight only did well cause of the death of Heath Ledgers. I mean I've seen the movie more then once and it was OK, but it wasn't brilliant by any means. Heath Ledgers acting as the Joker was kinda cool and well played out, but there just was something wrong with the movie that doesn't really make it worth watching a second time.
Titanic was awesome when I was like 8 years old watching it for the first time. Seen it MANY times in my life, still today I think it was a good film. Avatar is the same, I really liked and and wouldn't mind seeing it again. imo, if a movie is good enough to want to watch a second time then it must be pretty darn good. |

The numbers do matter, but when you account for inflation Titanic is still way beyond Avatar. Ticket prices in 1998 were much lower, so I'm more curious to see a comparison of tickets sold. A complete interactive graph of all movies at the box office between 1986 and 2008, with all figures adjusted for relative inflation. [thumbup] |
