The room also seems quite dark with a ;ight behind the subject - that's likely to stuff up oxposures, I would expect.
Try with the room lights on.

You know, when people say they almost spit coffee out on the keyboard etc, I'm always like yeah whatever you're just saying that, but as i was sitting here sipping coffee at work and came across this, I literally had to stop myself from doing so. This picture is golden.

My Canon 30D and 5D MkII do not have inbuilt flash. The idea is that you'd buy an external flash and attached it to the hotshoe on the top of the camera.

30D definitely has a pop-up flash.

It's becoming obvious he doesn't own a 30D he doesn't even own a 5D either he probably has a Vivitar instead.
