Nice speech, I felt sorry for him when he mentioned how hard it was for him to get the part when no director could make any money off of his name. I hope he gets a second chance at his profession. Also another sad moment regarding his dogs and being alone, really sets it all in how close he is in real life with his character Randy the Ram.

Man, Mickey winning was epic. I completely expected Sean Penn to take it home. Great moment; now all he needs is that Oscar.

Felt good for Kate Winslet too. She always seems to get the short end of the stick come awards season; looks like this is her year.

Well, I just made a comment about this in "The Wrestler Trailer" thread, but I'll say it again, I'm glad he won. I didn't see the other movies that were nominated in that category so I can't say 100% that he deserved it, but I think he did an amazing job as Randy the Ram. It's scary to read about how Nicholas Cage was first cast as Randy, that would have been BAD.

Haven't seen the movie yet, but I know that Rourke was back when he played in Sin City. Like Halen said, it was also nice to see Winslet win her award. You'd think she'd get the love from more people by posing naked it Titanic
