W00T! Morena Baccarin is hot!

Good show. Pretty well done, and it was good to see Alan Tudyk ("Wash" from Firefly) in the pilot as well. I think this will be a good series. I'm old enough to have seen the original when I was a kid, so this is kind of a cool show for me...

I really liked the pilot dispite the emo kid and I'll definitely be watching this.. Never watched the original but it's one of those great "what if" scenarios.

Seems to me that a "friendly" Alien species would be aware of the ground affects of their spacecraft and either land in sparsely populated areas or, more likely, remain in orbit and send some smaller vessels down that would not have such a severe ground affect and be less likely to cause widespread panic and damage.
Seems to be that either they really don't care, or that it is a deliberate tactic! Assuming it isn't just the usual director's "let's make it a huge dramatic spectacle!" and not a writers decision!

Must not have seen the original then. The V's are "too good to be true".

I've recently rewatched ALL of the V series.

I used to watch the original V back in the days, good show.

Now i´ve got a question, back in the 80s ? I remember a show with Aliens that were abandoned on Earth by some enslaving race. The Aliens had wierd spots on there heads.
Does anybody remember that show ? i think one was a cop or something ?

Anyone know if this is being aired on a channel in the UK? Loved the original V when I was a kid.

I didn't like the ships, they looked like upscaled toys.
