My suggestion is to get the biggest damn tub of popcorn and a bladder busting size soda, then stuff your pockets full of candy and enjoy the hell out of the one movie you do get to see.

Sometimes just breaking up the monotony helps. Change it up a bit and raise yourself above it all.

Yeah it gets boring that's for sure, but if your dead you can enjoy anything.

That's not life's fault... it's your own failure. You're bored? Go get a PhD... go caving in Borneo... take a picture of a charging lion in Africa... write a novel... run for political office... join the army... do SOMETHING.

Life isn't something you watch while it passes you by... or at least it shouldn't be. It's nobody's job to make living exciting for you but your own.

my dad is like that, thinks he's seen it all and nothing exciting coming in the next years. Maybe you're depressed (my dad is)? That's what happens when I smoke weed for an extended period of time. I'd say try to find something new, are you the artist type ? You should try getting a cheap acoustic guitar in a flea market, start drawing, collecting movies, taking pictures, doing charity work..challenging yourself to meet more women, whatever. Get a dog and walk it, buy and sell on Ebay, the list goes on.

Don't you have anything you tell yourself "I wanna do this once in my life ?" ( that doesn't involve my naked little sister preferably)

Hey OHP. I hope this is just another attention getting post, and not really your true feelings because if I were to think this is a true cry for help, it would make me feel pretty sad. Sad because a Bloke I have known via FM can not see and/or understand the miracle of life and all the wonders within it. But also sad because you have no avenue in real life to reach out to and are forced to use the internet of all things to reach out for a very personal and problematic situation to a bunch of relative strangers.

Take note that life will always be what you make of it, even if you do not understand that now, it's the truth. Want a different life? A different mindset? A different way? Make it happen. If all else fails, and you can not find something to live for, find something to die for. At the very least your life will have meaning and would not be in vien. Good luck m8!

EDIT: By the way, I'm 36 and know what it's like to have the mondaine lifecycle seem bland and trying at times. However, a bit of hope goes a long way! Again, life is what you make of it. You want something different? Go get it!

me parents still have a good few years in them still,so your all safe from worrying for another 15-20 years I just find my self bored with every thing these days Ive done a fare few things with my life too so its not like I haven't been actively doing things in my life.

Ive lost interest in most things I used to be interested in, lost interest in my career,friends,people well pretty much every thing really
