Hi guys,
Just got a call at work from one of my facebook friends saying I was talking to him on facebook chat, telling him I was in Wales and had been mugged at gunpoint. I logged into facebook and there was the conversation, right in front of my eyes... I've changed my password, there is NOBODY else who knows this password, i DO NOT have any keyloggers, malware, virii etc on my computer, the password was 10 characters, uppercase, lowercase, symbols etc... how the **** has this happened? what information can i get from facebook about this, such as source IP address, location of last login, etc... Can anyone help? Thanks |

Don't use those silly social networking websites.
All you can really do is make your password as hard as possible to crack, cause that is most likely how they got in. Good thing you got in before they got the password changed cause than you would have been totally screwed and would need to have call up Facebook to have them delete it. Both Facebook and Myspace have tried taking my wife to a different server in another country that mimics these social websites when she clicks on a bugged link. These are unsafe servers, and thankfully I have extensions installed in FireFox that catches this. Who knows how many people are directed to these false servers that steal all ones information. On a plus note, Facebook at least notices when you log in from an area you don't normally log in from. We are in Florida right now, and when she went to log in, Facebook asked to make sure she was who she really was since we are 400+ miles from where she always logs in from. I know Google Gmail allows you to see which IPs you log in from. Facebook not do that? Would be easy to than find out who did this and than mess around with them! |

I have a story on FB gettn hacked.
Not too long ago I made friends with a girl and we ended up chatting thru FB. My GF got a wind of it and she asked her girlfriends husband to hack into the girl's account because she didnt trust me enuff and didnt believe me when I told her it was all innocent. Well this guy somehow hacked into her account read all her outgoing mail and sent my GF a copy... She ended up looking like a fool because there werent any sexual/flirty emails between us but my stupid gf made me delete her off my FB anyways....god I hate women![rolleyes] I have extensions installed in FireFox that catches this. could you tell me what the name of the extension is please...?[thumbup] |

skid marks in your shreddies are also the lesser known inter dimensional/Space-time phenomenon BTW I think they need to add a 5th type to that list of co-workers in the other thread. 5. Those that pull there pants down and bend over to check for skid marks in their underwear while at work ![]() |

Hi guys, If its a 'smart phone' then using bluetooth your be surprised what you can access with a simple little bit of software? You can get remote access/ control of the phone and use its features or source cached info. |

perhaps its one of those aberrations of the future. North Wales, especially Anglesey where I live is one of the safest places in the Country. |

Chance of getting mugged in Wales at Gunpoint is pretty remote, Unless you mean South Wales, then The chances in places Like Cardiff or Swansea could be quite high. |
