I guess it also proves why these old classic F1 circuits are still the best, and it's also probably a triumph for the current regulations, it's certainly nice to see every now and again when the form book gets ripped up and thrown in the bin...

ah well things arn't too bad for Fisi. will be interesting to see the cars race pace, although we already know its quick with some fuel on too.

id rather see Williams be more aggressive with Rosberg. he's too heavy to try for the front couple of rows in qualy, but still not really got nearly as much fuel as the guys just behind him. makes it a tricky race really.

Still a very good drive from Fisi, he is slightly heavier then Rubens Brawn!

I think Hamilton, Alonso, Button and co will be pleased to see how early some of the guys in front are pitting, a good start for the Mclaren boys with KERS would point them into a very strong position.

OMG if Trulli jumps Fischella at the start im going to be so pissed [rofl]

CHOO! CHOO!

Anyway, Fisi carrying more fuel than i expected, if he stays at the front 12 laps is more than enough time to get away from the pack, i severely doubt people in the middle of the pack are going to get the better of him by using heavier fuel loads cause they are going to be tripping over each other and will not be able to match the pace of the front runners.

The surprise is Rubens though, running very light, he needs to jump some cars at the start otherwise its going to be a very difficult task for him to get on the podium.

Wow Rubens is very light, unless something odd happens like early rain, he is going backwards all day tomorrow.

I expect Trulli to be in the box seat for the race win.

But who knows in this race

A very interesting and exciting qualifying session, nice to see so many of the "underdog" teams up towards the top. Congrats to Fisichella on getting pole, would be nice for the Force India team to see a podium.

Still scratching my head about the difference between Barichello and Button these past two races...

btw, I think this is my first time seeing a race at Spa, and it's one helluva track. Should be a great race tomorrow, can't wait!

Not sure if it has anything to do with it, but when Rubens spat it a few races ago he said he was no longer going to give Button his setup info.

If that's the difference or not I don't know, but Button will be getting real nervous now the Rubens has a real chance of becoming a WDC threat.

Raikkonen will probably run away with this now. even though he's using his own race track.

Yeah, this tyre set doesn't seem to work too well for Kimi

edit:
Looks like the softer tyres work better in race too after all, and Fisi is now on softer while Kimi is on harder tyres.

I wonder if the hit Kimi got to his behind on the first lap made any damage, some suspected that it might have hurt his diffusors performance.

I don't think you need make excuses for Raikonnen, Fisi is just genuinely pretty quick.

Yes he definately is, but tires can make a difference, and when they're both on hard we'll get some idea if it was the tyres that shrunk the gap in 2nd stint

edit:
nevermind, now Räikkönen got softer tyres and Fisichella harder, let's see if the gap starts to widen, it would point to tyres giving the good edge on last stint for Fisi, who probably has had his best weekend ever in his F1 career
