I did a bid on this glass for 2,50 Euro ( ex shipping). They are really nice, they can contain about a full bottle of beer (33+ cl). I bought my father one a few years ago, only that one doesnt have a castle at the foot of the glass.

If you drink a heavier beer, containing more alcohol or flavour, than these are great to drink from. Of course a normal plain beer is good too.

If you would like to have this glass, than we can work something out. (plus I still gotta get it first.. Im trying to buy now as we speak)

That's a very nice glass and thank you for the offer but I only collect and drink out of mugs with handles on them. I'm a little strange when it comes to that. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...s/biggrin1.gif

You know how some people just don't like the taste of certain things.

Well I don't like the taste of beer, any beer http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo.../confused1.gif

I don't hate the taste, I just don't like it

I drink it in social situations, as it's just too much crap to deal with having to turn down an offer for a drink all the time. But I'd much rather drink other things.

http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/unsure1.gif
One step further. I've tried beer, quite a few kinds actually. Can't stand the taste of ANY of them. So I don't drink beer, which precludes drinking beer at just about any social event.

I'll have wine, cream liquor, hell even win coolers. Don't like hard liquor either.

Yeah, so I bought a few beers today...http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/laugh1.gif

Hey, I bought some fuller's london porter today as well. Along with some sierra nevada pale ale, alaskan summer ale, old rasputen, old numbskull, stone 13'th anniversary, stone ruination, stone IPA, and stone imperial stout (I decided to buy a lot of stone this time around).

I just finished up my Youngs Double Chocolate and my Guinness. Time to go to bed now feeling happy. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...s/biggrin1.gif

Good to know it's not just me then with this rare affliction!

Oddly enough, I'll eat anything.

It doesn't have a chocolate taste at all. Just very dark and robust. Very tasty! [yes]

I did think this way 'til a couple of years ago when I thought there's nothing better than brewing after the rules of the Deutsche Reinheitsgebot. But there are actually a couple of beers in the world outside of Germany that do taste delicious. So while I still think we have the best brands in the world, I'm always open to new stuff, and would love to try a sip of Double Chocolate beer. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/cool1.gif

I also belive German beer is the best in the world but I have to take what I can get here. Double Chocolate is one of the best anywhere though.

You missed out yeast.

There's a beer called Waggledance which is brewed with a touch honey which is very nice.

I've had honey lager before. It was pretty good.

That's exactly what it is, though. The barley they use is what gives it the slight "chocolate" notes, but there is certainly none in it.

It has chocolate in it. There are a few chocolate stouts out there, and they are made with real chocolate.

Now, we aren't talking hershey's chocolate here. Chocolate used for stouts is generally very bitter, and can add a nice flavor. Some malt's do add a chocolate flavor alone, you just add chocolate to increase that chocolaty goodness.

Any one every try stone's 12'th anniversary "Bitter chocolate oatmeal stout?" That stuff was pretty good.

When everyone stays within the rules, progress comes to a halt.

Actually Young's Double Chocolate Stout and Rogue's Chocolate Stout both have a small amount of actual chocolate.
