While I like all of them, I always come back to Undiscovered Country. Great pacing, amazing music too.
I know alot of people dislike Nemesis, but I love it, just not as much as ST6. I guess I posted this because I'm considering buying the Motion Picture Collection in Bluray. Amazon has it for $70, Which is not bad, $70 for 6 ST movies on blueray. Thats a steal. |

I voted for First Contact. I liked that one best of all, perhaps also because the memories I have when I watched it first. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Xx7bLTmaYY |

I really like Generations. It was criticized a lot by many mostly due to the death of a great Captain, but it was a neat transitional period for 24th century Star Trek. The uniforms were changing on screen in front of us (the one Cmdr. Riker was wearing hardly fit him, lol), the 1701-D Enterprise would be destroyed, LaForge's visor would be the reason for the destruction of the Enterprise--you can't watch any classic TNG today and not think about Geordi's visor when you see it on screen knowing it would be the reason the Enterprise-D was destroyed. And we know it's mostly because of the destruction of Worf's security post he transfers to Deep Space Nine for a number of years, including the duration of the Dominion War, and then back to the Enterprise-E.
Lt. Commander Data becoming more human by applying the emotion chip to his neural net. Unfortunately if he wouldn't have done it, Geordi wouldn't have been kidnapped, the visor not tampered with, etc. The long season-spanning storyline arc of the villainous House of Duras was finally concluded after all this time, what happened with Picard's family was wrapped up in this indirect sequel to TNG Season 4's opening episode "Family", there was a brand new look to Stellar Cartography that opened the door for more rooms like it in Voyager and other TNG movies. The amazing acting done by Patrick Stewart, Malcolm McDowell, and others brought this movie to life. |

The one that had the bug thing that crawled in your ear, I think. I remember seeing it at the drive-in movie theater as a kid.

Wrath of Khan here... yes, showing my age a little, but what a great film, on a shoestring budget (about a quarter of the budget of the first). Amazing stuff.
JJ Abrams' film is great, even if it rips up the history a little, but relative to expectations and sheer combination of story, action, romance and backstory, it's Khan all the way, by a long way. |

I wasn't aware of any of the TNG films being in bluray yet? I've looked for them. |
