2" thick New York Strip cut, West Texas Angus beef steak. Rare- with a cool pink/bloody core. NO SAUCE. Served with a loaded or twice baked potato and a garden salad with either basalmic vinagrete or ranch dressing. A crisp white reisling, brut champagne or a sweet chardony beside it. Either a bottle of HP sauce or Worchestshire sauce sitting on the table to grace the potato skins. But NO sauce on the meat.
Thats my favorite meal. A nice desert would be some chambord on ice with a few milano cookies to share with freinds. |

New York Strip Steak
Crowned the king of all steaks, ours are cut from the center of the strip loin. This savory, juicy steak is well marbled & trimmed to perfection. Steak connoisseurs value its rich flavor and compare it favorably to their preferred steakhouse. The best grilling steak! While filet mignon is considered the most tender steak of all, New York strip steak is widely regarded as the best all around steak. Strip steak is, naturally, cut from the strip loin. Carving the cut directly from the center of the strip loin is how New York Steak guarantees the quality and flavor of its New York strip steak. For all around savoriness and flavor, it just doesn’t get any better than an excellent New York strip steak. and I concur. You freaking tender sissy's! ![]() |

A pub I frequent in London used to serve minute rib eye steak, now they do minute sirloin instead.. I know nothing about steak, what's the difference (apart from the fact it comes from a different part of the animal)?
