Argh 15 days without net, what options are there

Moving house and just checked with BT and they can't give us a phone line for 15 days, what options do I have, I'll go nuts without internet for that long

I have an N95, can I use that for access connected to my PC for the 15 days, I have unlimited net on the phone but it's not really unlimited, only 1GB a month or something like that but should be good enough for email and stuff or is there anything else recommended.

Cheers

I went two months without internet or TV.

I watched a lot of movies.

Intockatt 07-25-2009 04:49 AM

I think you need to watch the South Park episode where they lose the Internet i bet youll be like Stans dad[rofl]

Here its pretty common that people move and then the first thing they do is check to see if any neighbors have an unsecured connection. [yes]

We had a new neighbor move in a few months ago and one of the first things he asked was who were the stingy stinkers with the pass-worded network. That was us! [rofl]

DeedPatmeda 07-25-2009 09:53 PM

what options are there Do things that don't require the internet?

Go see your new neighbours.
Have fun with one of your neighbours. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/wink1.gif
Watch DVD's
Take a drive
Masturbate
Hang out at a friends place
play a PC/console game that will take you some time to finish
Go for walks
Talk on the phone all night to someone
pick your nose
stare out the window

I don't know why I got a mental picture of some guy dusting off some old 1960s national geographics magazines out of sheer desperation .. heh but I did.

There is always Literature. Do you have anything good to read?

For me, when I take breaks from the net, I read the Bible and pray with God.

Helps me heaps, morally [thumbup]

Not really into heavy fictional writings, like a bit of Dan Brown though.

Local dialect states TV = subscription TV
When I refer to movies, I mean DVDs

How is having no subscription TV equal to having no TV at all?
