I generally (and this is porn only, obviously) prefer some hair there but trimmed/etc. It isn't all that big of a deal though.

If I had a wife who asked my opinion on it, I would say generally leave it however she wished to but occasionally switch it up.

Bad analogy - a large quantity of armpit hair is inherently masculine, which would naturally be a turnoff to straight men. By contrast, there is nothing in the widest reaches of the imagination that could manage to make a vagina masculine, simply on account of it's a vagina.
