Skill or luck?

It also is a reminder that we don't know what is around the corner ...

wowwieholmes 06-04-2009 06:03 PM

I don´t know, but that really doesn´t look like 150 mph (that´s what 250 km/h) ?
I use the Autobahn almost daily and that just doesn´t look like 250 km/h.

casinobonusfrees 06-04-2009 06:05 PM

150kph

so thats 90mph

I'd say Skiluck

casinobonusfrees 06-04-2009 06:27 PM

if it was 150mph he would have been through the barriers before he'd even contemplated taking corrective actions http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/tongue1.gif

So would I.
He reacted quickly, but the second countersteer was too strong... he almost lost it there. But then again, these manoevers aren't exactly the easiest to pull at 150kph so kudos to him no matter what.

warrgazur 06-04-2009 07:30 PM

I'd say 50/50 too, he did react to the first one a tad too late and then countered way too much, still, he got it right without hitting anythinghttp://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/smile1.gif

casinobonusfrees 06-04-2009 09:14 PM

he survived it because Unlike most "drivers" he didn't hit the brakes....

JesikaFclq 06-04-2009 09:18 PM

Response time was good http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/cool1.gif
skill on the stearing wheel , luck he didn't touch the rail...

tyclislavaify 06-04-2009 09:44 PM

I bet he never cheated and used the walls in Gran Tourismo to get round corners, that's why he had the skills.

2puO4Rhf 06-04-2009 11:30 PM

Pretty good recovery. Skillzz.

jobsfancy 06-04-2009 11:42 PM

Nice recovery! Wow, that would be pretty wild.

DJkillos 06-05-2009 12:22 AM

If you'll notice how many times and how decisive he turned the wheel, in such a short period of time, with such precision... That was no luck, that was definitely skill. Not many people on the road could have saved it like that.

autoloanexpert 06-05-2009 12:42 AM

That was skill but i bet he **** his pants tho http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/tongue1.gif.

ftqwhbvxlcfop 06-05-2009 12:47 AM

Skill definitely!!

You can tell by the first turn of the wheel. He turns very hard then realizes he needs to turn more so he does.

Very skillful!

uphokyhuP 06-05-2009 01:35 AM

no doubt more skills then the average driver but hes no pro. his initial reaction was a little slow and then he over corrected several times. could of done much worse though [thumbup]

berdyanskdotsu 06-05-2009 01:45 AM

He did exactly what you're supposed to do (at least as best as the situation allowed him). Kudos. I probably would have done the same. I've been in similar situations but with ice.

Slintreeoost 06-05-2009 04:29 AM

Wall hacks. Obviously.
