New bat speed record?

Looks like the Shuttle launch had a little stowaway.

Wonder how far he made it.

do america have laws protecting the habitat's of bats like the UK does? if bats are found on a construction site they have to be left alone until they move on lol.

Boo-****ing-hoo, maybe the bat shouldn't have set up shop on a ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY BILLION DOLLAR SPACE PROGRAM!

i couldnt give a rats bum about the bat! , just that it would have been funny if they had to delay launch until it left of its own acord lol (if they knew it was there in the first place that is which they obviously didnt)

Coincidentally, an astronaut aboard that flight, Koichi Wakata of Japan, also flew on Discovery this week, making him the first spaceflyer to share two rides with bats. Discovery's STS-119 mission is headed to the International Space Station to drop off the final segment of the lab's backbone truss and set of solar array panels. Coincidence? I think not! Obviously Koichi Wakata is trying to create some mutant space bat to battle Gojira.
