I find it disturbing to see. But I was wrong to also say it's bad for kids to see.

Someone who misses a body part has not a normal body.Why should there else be special Olympics for them or special adapted cars, houses etc.. etc..?

I just would not like to see it on TV.

Why shouldn't we? Just because someone is not average doesn't mean that they have any less of a right to happiness than anyone else.

You know, I'd be interested in seeing what a fine physical specimen you are yourself. How about posting up a picture and letting us judge you strictly by physical appearance? You sound like a perfect proponent of normality, so I don't see why you'd have a problem with that.
It's simple really. You twist it to hatred I have towards people who are different. You rarely find someone who has a problem with ramp vans and handicap ramps, innatomate objects used to assist a person, that does not have deep seated hate twoard the people who use them.
And maybe I dont feel so much pity for them as most of you seem to. At this point, you're wrong who I feel pity for.
