good for nice quick models and quite impressive how it works, wouldn't do at all for accuracy or complexity though

EDIT: just as an example, look at the following and consider that models in games like GT5 arn't too far off this:

Well then you have to apply lighting and blend it into existing video using other methods. Also that video is two years old so I am sure it is much better now.

i dunno, the general concept of the program seems well suited to low poly models that are quick and easy to make, tbh i don't it was designed to be more than that

Well right, it is designed to generate 3D models from video as reference material, that is a given.

well yes, just people seem to be associating this program with speeding up the modelling process for games and as i said above i don't think it would be at all suited to the high poly models that get used in modern games, nor would the resultant model be anywhere near as accurate as it needed to be.
