I've seen them used on Mythbusters a few times, but I've never actually seen them in real life.

They are often used on wooden crates with sensitive electrical equipment inside, that ships from one place to another. Often from abroad/overseas.

How do you call those..
 

stickers that you place on the outside of a crate or box which can be bought in different values of G-forces.

They have a little tube inside which breaks when maximum G-force is exceeded.

Shoot, darned if I can recall - was checking some yesterday on some of our pipe lasers.
If I remember, I'll see what they say on them on Monday.

Shock Watch stickers, or something like that.

Yup, they weren't marked with a name on the lasers, so I called the service agent and they also call them Shock Watch. Available in a number of different ratings and configurations.

An other type of indicators of cargo mishandling are the Tip-N-Tell cards:

The ones we use are called Tele-tip but it's the exact same thing.
