Default data storage blu-ray
I am not sure if there any blu-ray burners out there, but if they exist what would be the max amount of storage on them containing compressed data?

This data could be anything, except audio.

If you are intending to compress the data, then it would depend on what it is, as some data compresses more than others. Its a bit of a tricky question to answer to be honest.

As Chris said... depends entirely upon the data... I'm assuming you know the capacity of a single layer blu-ray disk is 25GB?

They have dual layer burners out too (50gb).

If you were to rar the files here and burn them, then uncompress them you could fit over a thousand gigs on 1 dual layer Blu-ray.
I'm too dumb to do the math...

edit
2 terabytes? I'm hating the 1024 thing...
