And then comes VP2B Joe Biden reciting the various times Obama's young judgment has been right while McCain's faltering judgment has proven incorrect. LOL LOL LOL LOL

PLEASE TELL ME HOW A LESS-THAN-ONE TERM SENATOR WITH NO LEGISLATIVE ACCOMPLISHMENTS HAS GOOD JUDGMENT ABOUT ANYTHING!

Glenn Beck couldn't have written that, it didn't give me a headache. Granted, you'd think a conservative would like a congress that didn't make alot of expensive laws, and this is the first I've heard of universal healthcare failing everywhere it's tried. Still, the editorial seems decently sane and rational, so it can't be from Glenn Beck.

It seemed like a pretty effective speech. I wouldn't doubt it if they get some polling numbers. I still won't vote though. It was all salesmanship.

I couldn't bring myself to watch the Clintons, they are just so fake. But! I watched Obama tonight and was very impressed. If he had said 'I will not use your tax dollars to pay for abortions', I would be voting for him. I agree with everything else he had to say except the nuke energy blurb. Anyway, can't vote for him, but for that one thing he seems like an excellent choice, but that one thing is all it takes. Still, if he gets in I won't mind listening to and watching him like I minded watching Clinton. Hope he stands by the military. Don't want another Clinton, but he seems a much better man than that.

It seems like the key phrases this time are "middle class" and "tax cuts". One wonders how much they will matter after the election.

Things like this are a significant downside of a two-party (first past post) system, you get powerful special interest groups which are in a pocket of either of the parties. It's not like Zkribbler is the only poster guilty of this, either.

Spin, spin, spin. Reality has nothing to do with it.

you can just re-read my OP, where I explain how Obama has better judgment that any of his opponents Then why has he:

1.) Not support the surge and support an immediate withdrawl regardless of anything?
2.) Carbon copyMcCain's Iraq plan since?
3.) Reverse himself on drilling?
4.) Fail to have a sane nuclear policy?

Find me one thing that says he's going to pull all troops out within the week is takes office, or anything to that effect. We've had this argument before and you lost. You must be desperate for points.

2.) Carbon copyMcCain's Iraq plan since?
3.) Reverse himself on drilling?
4.) Fail to have a sane nuclear policy? I don't know about the drilling, frankly I don't care. From what I understood he doesn't want to stop drilling but he doesn't want to use it as the "solution" to oil prices. I'm willing to bet you just don't comprehend the intricacies of a nuanced position, since you're used to Bush's "I hate the towel heads" approach to governance.

If Obama carbon copied McCain's Iraq plan then how come your first point was how Obama had a policy of pulling the troops out of Iraq immediately? Is that also McCain's plan, or are you just too stupid to construct a simple point-form post?

Finally, "sane nuclear policy" is subjective and given that you're a loyal eager brownnoser in the military that conducts unlawful wars and supports torture, I'm guessing your sanity is a little suspect at this point.

I didn't read the rest because it's clear all you're doing is bullshitting.

If it all happens then we will be the most fantastic country in the world!

Why would you think I was bullshitting?

Why would you think I was bullshitting? Because I watched the speech and I know for a fact it's not what he said.

He said cut taxes to 95% of working families, not "the country".

I think you are bullshitting because in the first bullet point, you used a strawman.

Concentrate on the message Asher, not the semantics! The problem is once you adjust for your semantics, the message becomes invalid.
