Yeah trying to do things new and differently and basically leaving out everything that made the series interesting and cool. They tried to play up the whole 'belief' thing with mulder and scully but didnt pull it off very well. It was the story, it was really weak. Duchovny and Anderson's acting was fine, what i expected it to be, but the story, oh the story......... >_

I saw Step Brothers last night which was a very dumb and goofy movie and the humor was the same swearing over and over throughout the whole movie but did have its moments. Seeing how the new X-files movie is rated 20% below that on Rotten Tomatoes, I think I will pass on the X-Files.

Dumb and goofy, but I was hysterically laughing more often than not. It was more or less a "Dumb and Dumber" for adults. The first sleepwalking scene was one of the funniest things I have ever seen.
