Default Photoshop help...
Back mid last year, i had a TVR race day.... I also brought a CD of pics that a photographer took of me driving the car... These is one id like to have blown up to a panaramic photo, 10" x 20" and have it mounted onto a frame....

But there is a problem... The pic he took has a pile of tyres in the picture

Ive had a go of cloning out the tyres and adding the shadow, but always looks so fake....

Can anyone help me please????

Click for full size image

I can email you the full sized image if anyone would like the full picture

Can you use the dodge/burn tool for the shadow?

That is a great pic, I love how you can see you and the guy in the passenger seat's expressions.

You could try selecting the car itself and pasting it into a new layer - then on a layer underneath that you could paint in a shadow where the tyres were in the way. At least this way you'll have the car on a layer above so you wont have to worry about overlapping on the paint layer

Without being able to tell where the exact position of the sun is, it's difficault to produce an acurate shadow. You can sort of tell it's pretty high (almost overhead). But this should be pretty close.

If you're happy with it, let me know where I can upload the full size, or PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send it.

Well, i owe watto_uk one hell of a thank you!!!! You did a fantastic job, so chuffed with the result...

Thought id keep you all in the "picture" with how it looks blown up and editied.

I tool the other two photos, and decided to get them printed big too for my portfolio.

I mounted them onto 6mm foam board, and got a "floating frame".... its hollow on the reverse and the picture sits onto the front of the frame... They looks amazing!!! [thumbup]
