Default Taco Bell
Has their food changed, or is it just because I have passed the age of 20. I can't eat that crap anymore. I now feel sick to my stomach and have killer heartburn.

The only thing that I have noticed is their portions per burrito seems to have been cut almost in half but still have the same prices. [thumbdown]

I remember when I was about 10 years old I went to Disney World in Florida and we had taco bell a few nights - used to love it.

Back when I worked at Burger King every time they had a sale on double cheeseburgers we'd get in a new shipment of burger patties.. that were about 10% smaller than normal. And usually it would stay that way. Seems every fast food place likes to celebrate the shrinking over their portions by having a sale... I guess they think people won't notice. And for the most part, they don't.

Its not the same and I quit going.

I don't know what it is? I do know its not just the portion size, it just tastes wrong now.

I miss Taco Bell.

I personally cannot stand eating their "beef" anymore, especially since they almost never drain the beef stew sauce (whatever) before they put into burrito's...ugh! It does give me an upset stomach too, not to mention a lot of gas [rofl]

The only time I can handle it, is with the hard-shelled tacos - which are still excellent and cheap...

I have stuck with their chicken for some time now....

If they didn't put so much damn breading/batter/whatever on their fish I would stick with that ... I am still picking that stuff off (waaay to oily)...

Instead im walkin to the nearby Wendy's and getting those Frescata sandwiches or their chicken salad .....

Tried it once... and I didn't mind it.

I had the soft taco shells and they were not too bad.

Its not the food that changed. Its just that there's new workers now and their different habit. Some would put in large blob of beans and stuff like that. People normally works for 3 months then quit for whatever reasons. So there's usually like 25% or less of crew that works over a year. So there's always new people at taco bell.

I had something called Wiener Schnitzel when I was in Germany. I'm not sure if it was the real thing, as I've never had it before. It was tasty for the first 3 or 4 days. At 14 days, it was disgusting.

And Taco Hell kicks ass! Foods that smell the same coming out as they did going in FTW! Oh, and foods that make you fart. [thumbup]

One word...

...Moe's

...Aww I love me some Moe's, "Welcome to Moe's!"

It's more southwest than mexican but it's still so good, and fairly cheap.

...It's funny the first job I ever had (when I was 15) was at Taco Bell, I gained about 20lbs while working there, 'cause you get free food. So on all my lunch / dinner breaks what do you think I would eat! Also it does taste different to me now too, that's why I call it...

...Toxic Hell
