I'm having trouble with my page.

a) How do I get rid of the "Welcome to sionyboys homepage" text across the banner?
b) My big blurb of writing has just bunched up into one giant paragraph. How an I seperate them?

I didn't actually delete the welcome text. I just changed the font size to 1 and the colour to match my img background.

I've read that, though I still have no idea how to get rid of the welcome text. Or do anything else for that matter. Why stylesheets? I have no wish to learn them for one page of writing.

O well after soccer training i will have a go to learn it .....

I did that, I turned the whole page into 1px font. Then I got annoyed. So I've given up and left a little rant on my YG page instead.

CSS isn't all that difficult if know enough html to be able to produce the same stuff. If we didn't let users modify the style sheet specifically, there would either be very little customization possible, or it would just be a case of code-your-homepage-from-scratch.

Protip: if you see that someone has done something cool with their homepage and you don't know how they did it, you can always look at the page source and see the CSS and copy&paste stuff for your own use.

Hmm do the same rules apply for the YG homepage as for the FM forums ?

I'll just mention that you don't need to know CSS to make a nice page for yourself. For example [G]Ernestos page is shaping up very nice, with very little CSS modifications needed so far.
